Clearing out in Malahide: what usually goes
Garages in Malahide's older estates hold years of overflow: bikes nobody rides, golf bags, boxes from the last move, garden furniture that has been replaced but never removed. An adult bike is €10, a garden bench €20 and a box of odds and ends €10. Period houses near the village tend to hold the heavier pieces: a sideboard, a dresser, a double wardrobe at €45.
The newer homes around Kinsealy, Feltrim and Balgriffin bring different jobs: flat-pack furniture replaced after a few years, a first garden overhaul, packaging and boxes after a move. Both kinds are priced from the same list.

Check who's taking your junk
Fingal County Council's advice is to use only authorised waste collectors, and to ask to see a collector's permit or look it up on the national register. Junk Ireland is run by Glass Bag Recycling Ltd, which holds Waste Collection Permit NWCPO-25-13230-01, so you can check us before you book. The same council page notes that permitted collectors must, by law, show their permit number on any vehicle used to collect waste.

Parking near the village
Near the village and the marina, streets are narrow and parking is in demand. If there's a driveway the van can use, mention it in a reply to your confirmation email; otherwise the loaders carry to wherever the van can stop.
