Complete collection prices in Maynooth
A mattress collected on its own in Maynooth costs €150, including the Kildare call-out, two loaders, disposal and VAT. A single bed frame and mattress together cost €170; the call-out is charged once for that collection. A mattress's item price of €30 is not the complete collection price.
For a rental clear-out, list each room separately and distinguish items to collect from furniture that stays. Include quantities, bed sizes and separate frames. Agree access with whoever can let the crew in, then choose an available time in the chat. Larger or uncertain inventories are checked before payment. Plan a house clearance.
Clearing out in Maynooth: what usually goes
Maynooth's historic centre of Main Street, the castle and the old college sits beside Maynooth University, the Royal Canal and a ring of estates off the Straffan, Moyglare and Dunboyne roads. Students, young professionals and families all live within a mile or two of each other, and each brings its own kind of clutter.
Family homes in the newer estates tend to produce a different mix from the rentals: a spare room turned home office, kids' bikes and beds outgrown, and a garage that filled up during the last move and never emptied.
Student houses and the end of the lease
When the academic year ends, shared houses around the town empty out within weeks of each other. A typical house leaves single bed frames at €20, mattresses at €30, a desk at €20 and black bags at €5 each. Shared houses often have more than one of everything, so photograph every bedroom, not just one.
For landlords and letting agents, the order is simple: photograph each room after the tenants leave, check every line, and book a slot before the next tenants arrive. If nobody can be at the house, agree access in advance. Our mattress disposal page covers mattresses in more detail.
The Kildare call-out
The call-out is the only part of the price that changes with the county. Kildare is in our commuter band, so Maynooth jobs carry a €120 call-out for two loaders and the van, and start from €125. Dunboyne and Enfield, over the Meath border, are in the same band, and item prices are the same everywhere.
Kildare's recycling centres, and where we fit
Kildare County Council has two recycling centres, both in the south of the county: Silliot Hill, just outside Kilcullen on the Naas–Kilcullen road, and Gallows Hill in Athy. A contractor runs them for the council, and the council's page links to what each takes and the current charges.
From Maynooth, either is a fair drive with a full car. That's the gap we fill: two loaders come to you and carry it all out. (Council details checked October 2026.)
