Renovation fixtures we take

Refitting a bathroom, replacing a kitchen or gutting a room before the builders start? Two loaders carry the old fittings out, load the van and sweep up, across Dublin and the 8 surrounding counties.

• Internal and external doors
• Windows, with the glass intact
• Baths, toilets, sinks and shower trays
• Kitchen units, cupboards and wooden or laminate worktops
• Wooden and laminate flooring, carpet and underlay
• Radiators
• Timber offcuts, skirting boards and pallets
• Plasterboard and offcuts, priced as a loose load. Stack them apart from other junk.
• Packaging from new fittings: cardboard, plastic wrap and boxes

What we don't take, and where it goes instead

• Rubble, broken tiles, bricks and blocks: a skip or a specialist heavy-waste collection. Many renovations use both: a skip for the heavy waste, and us for the bulky fittings that would fill half the skip.
• Soil and stone: a skip, or ask your landscaper or groundworks contractor how it will be taken away.
• Paint, solvents and chemicals: check your council's website for where to bring household quantities.
• Asbestos: if you suspect it in old floor tiles, textured ceilings or pipe lagging, leave it undisturbed and bring in a specialist asbestos contractor before any other work goes ahead.

Renovation waste prices

In Dublin you pay a €100 call-out and labour charge, covering the van and two loaders, plus a set price per item. A bath is €20, a toilet €10.50, a sink €10, a shower tray €10, an internal door €15, an external door €40 and a radiator €10.50. Prices include VAT.

Flooring is priced by area: €6 per m² for wooden or laminate and €2 per m² for carpet. Kitchen units and timber are priced from the list, or as a loose load by how much of the van they fill if they come out in pieces. Every item is on our price list.

Plan the collection around your trades

We collect on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 14:00–16:00. Book a slot just after the strip-out, so the old suite doesn't sit in the hall or the garden for days. If the job runs over, you can reschedule free of charge more than 24 hours before.

Someone needs to be on site to let us in, whether that's you or your builder, or access must be agreed in advance. There's no skip permit to arrange and nothing parked on the road: the van leaves when the job is done.

Getting your renovation priced

Photograph the pile, or each fixture as it comes out, and get your price. If flooring is going, measure the room and add the area in the chat. If your photos show rubble or tiles, the assistant notes them as not taken, and your price covers only the fixtures listed.
